A well known and much respected digital agency in central London is hiring a PHP Web Developer to join their highly capable technical team of 4 people. These guys have a client list packed with internationally famous brands from a range of sectors including luxury goods...

As a PHP Web Developer, you will work with in house designers, project managers and other Web Developers to implement a wide range of digital campaigns for all clients. The main duties of the successful PHP Web Developer will be:

• Developing PHP and SQL code and using frameworks (Symfony, CakePHP, Zend, etc) as necessary
• Producing hand-coded standards-compliant cross-browser compatible HTML and CSS
• Identification and resolution of development issues with code
• Setting up, maintaining and developing Content Management Systems (Wordpress, Drupal)
• Web Server maintenance, domain name management and related tasks
• Maintaining document and code snippet library for use by colleagues
• Contributing in the creation of creative briefs for Digital Designers to work with
• Ownership of technical output with regards to PHP web development

This is an important role within the team, so the successful PHP Web Developer will need to be able to demonstrate all of the following:

• A background of working in a digital agency or within a fast paced environment
• PHP development including OO and frameworks such as Symfony, CakePHP or Zend
• SQL development in a MySQL environment
• HTML and CSS (including HTML5 and CSS3)
• Javascript development including jQuery and the use of AJAX
• Installaion and customisation of CMS systems including Wordpress and Drupal

A company with a ground breaking online product for the music industry is adding a number of Ruby on Rails (RoR) Developers to their central London team. These guys have been going for about 3 years now and have proved that their offering is hugely popular with promoters, artists and venues internationally. They have already signed up some really big names and continue to add more to their extensive client list on a daily basis. Now, it is time for them to take this product to the next level - maybe with your help!

As a Ruby on Rails (RoR) Developer you will work alongside a team of 6 to build and extend the company's core, publically available platform. Previously written in .Net and with much less functionality, this is a brand new build of a large and complex system that uses a range of the latest cutting edge technologies. The development road map features staged releases spanning the foreseeable future with new functionality being added to the plan regularly. Current projects include a mapping tool that allows artists to see where their sales are coming from, a management interface built on HTML5 with Canvas and a data processing system that packages music files for download on a plethora of devices.

The main requirement for this role is a solid understanding and good level of experience with Ruby on Rails. As long as you can demonstrate this, it's probably worth sending your CV. Any experience with the following will help, but isn't necessarily required:
